Sebastián Castillo is a Panamanian artist currently pursuing a Professional Certificate in Piano Performance under the guidance of concert pianist and professor Michael Lewin at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Previously, he completed his Bachelor of Music in Piano at the same institution, graduating with honors and receiving the Hans Lewitus Scholarship for Excellence. Castillo has had the exciting opportunity to perform in Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Italy, Spain, and throughout the United States. Recently, he became a Scholar and Ambassador and Mentor at the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation. He has also been inspired by internationally renowned masters such as Alexander Kobrin, John Nakamatsu, Sara Davis Buechner, and Max Levinson, and previously studied with concert pianist Kristhyan Benitez. Throughout the year, Castillo organizes numerous performances, both as a soloist and with chamber ensembles.
